If you receive an error such as “User not recognized” when trying to log into Blackboard, please follow these steps before submitting a ticket:
- Make sure you are officially enrolled in a course
- Students who have been accepted into the program upon submission of their application will not have access to Blackboard until they are formally enrolled. You will know you are enrolled when you receive an email from Blackboard with your credentials and instructions. This will normally happen on Mondays. If more than two weeks have passed from application submission and you haven’t received this email, please contact Ops
- Make sure you are using the correct username
- This is the primary email you used to submit your application to SEO
- Try logging into https://seousa.blackboard.com/ultra/ on a different browser
- Disabled any ad-blockers you might have active
- Try logging in from an incognito/private browser window
- Clear both the cookies and the cache for your browser (you’ll know the cache is cleared if you get logged out of everything you were previously logged into)
